 Instructions to Campers Minimize

Please take note of the following general instructions for all campers. More specific expectations are laid out in the "Rules and Regulations" section of the FHCYC Manual.

Time To Arrive:

Plan to arrive at camp between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Sunday of your week. The only meal on Sunday will be served at about 6:00 p.m.

Time To Depart:

Campers should be picked up between 9:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday. Campers are discouraged from staying over the weekend unless absolutely necessary and permission is obtained from the incoming manager. A $25 fee will be charged.

Medical Form:

A medical form must be on file for each camper. The physician's exam part is recommended, but optional. Last year's forms are on file and can be used if there are no significant changes. Campers who did not attend last year will need a new form. A blank form is enclosed if we do not have a current one on file. Please complete and mail or bring to camp at registration. All medications must be turned in and kept by the nurse for dispensing.

What To Bring:

Bible, notebook, pencil, pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and blankets, toiletry items, towels, flashlight, one-piece swimwear (no swimsuits consisting of two pieces), rain gear, dress up clothes for the banquet.

Dress Rules:

Modest and decent dress is the general rule. Shorts and skirts must be knee length. Tight clothing, offensive pictures or language and other clothing considered inappropriate by the manager will not be allowed.

What Not To Bring:

Knives, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, tobacco in any form, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, TV, radios, tape or CD players, pets, food, electronic games. Special diet food items must be kept in the kitchen.

Concessions:

Concession cards are purchased at registration and used for candy, soft drinks, ice cream, etc. during canteen hours. $10 is suggested. Craft material and T-shirts are also available. All money must be turned in at registration for safe keeping by the secretary.

Conduct:

Cleanliness and respect for grounds and property are expected. Sickness and injury must be reported to the nurse. Campers are insured by the camp. Campers are not allowed to leave the camp grounds without the manager's permission. Car keys must be turned in at registration. Life guard must be present at pool to swim. Mixed swimming is not permitted.
